I appreciated the chance to put up a stall during Pride Month, but there's room for more opportunities throughout the year. It would be beneficial to have more engagements beyond just Pride Month to maintain the momentum and support for Queerpreneurs. While I understand that the team put in their best efforts, it’s also crucial for clients to be sensitized to the importance of genuine allyship and not resort to tokenism. Encouraging clients to look beyond rainbow-coded products and engage with the community year-round would help combat superficial allyship and rainbow capitalism. Genuine support should extend beyond just putting up a show during Pride Month and supporting small queer-owned businesses that have different products to offer.
